Monthly recap: November 2023
30/11/2023Another month in the books, another huge step forward for me. This past month I’d call the shining one. Shining Pokémon are a big part of Neo era, with a total of ten plus the Shining Mew promo from Coro Core comics. The latter one also featuring the Darkness And To Light/Neo Destiny set icon is not part of the regular set so I’m keeping this one as a bonus treat for me if I find a good offer.
Out of the ten regular cards I had the chance to obtain not one but three. I am still more than happy to have welcomed Steelix, Gyarados and Celebi to my collection this month. As soon as the last one arrived it of course went off to PSA.
Apart from the shining I had a few more cards mainly from the Neo 4 sets finding their way into my beautiful little yellow Vault X binder. Currently missing only 24 from Neo 4 and one from Neo 3. And I also completed my Imakuni? Collection (if PSA hurries up a bit).
After a little break from sports cards I used the last few days to finally grab me some more cards for my collection including my first ever one of one. Plus my GSG submission is done with grading and ready to come back home. I already saw the grades and I’m happy. Of course you’ll find the return in my grading section once it has arrived back here in Hamburg.
With the year 2023 slowly coming to an end it is time to start planning my collection goals for next year. Mainly focused on finishing my Neo series, one thing that has come to my mind is going for the Gym sets in Japanese but I guess I have some time to decide on that. Maybe some e-series action to start a new binder? Or do I go for graded Vending Series? There’s just so much to explore.
I am looking forward to next month and of course next year with a huge event coming up in cologne by the end of January. The more I dive into this hobby the more I am fascinated.
