Sports sports sports and GSG November return
06/12/2023This week had me focused on sports cards again. Pretty shortly after starting to go for LaMelo Ball the Hornets point guard once again injured his ankle. You could say I’m a bad omen. Nonetheless I purchased some cards for my collection. The GSG 8.5 concourse of him is thus far my favorite one of his cards I own. The color way perfectly matches the jersey/background and the Select logo, the RC badge and the borders also match the Gold Standard Grading label.
Another addition is my first one of one. This Juju Smith-Schuster card was a bargain and the cheapest I’ll probably ever get my hands on a 1/1 unless I pull one myself and we all know this just ain’t gonna happen anywhere. I had to open any boxes first. I found this to be a good starting point to go for trades at the next convention.
Last but not least my GSG submission has somehow survived the snow storms and made it back home safe. Two more 9.5 and one 9.0 for my Son Collection? I take that.
